“I booked this hotel because it stated it was beachfront. We we're going to be checking in late but I believed that being beachfront would allow for us to leave the hotel and be able to sit on the beach for about an hour before we had to head to bed. The Beach is there but you have to walk across a four-lane highway to get to it. I am more familiar with Virginia Beach and when they say Beach they are actually on the beach when they are not actually on the beach they call it Ocean view. Since I did not ask to make the distinction this was my fault as there were two hotels that were beachfront one specifically stated you can walk out on the beach from the hotel I probably should have booked that one instead. But once I got past the disappointment of not sitting on the beach before we went to bed the hotel itself was nice the location was fine the staff was kind and helpful and even with a problem of checking in they got it fixed and everything went well after. A shout out to Pededrick "PD" for his aid ind prompt resolution of the issue at check in. And I appreciated his concern when the naked man showed up in the hall in the lobby! The the room was clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable for our son and my significant other for me, it was a little firm for my liking as I enjoy a more plush mattress on my joints, but I was able to find a comfortable position and sleep. The breakfast was good and the pancakes were good. Our son thought the pancake machine was amazing and I thought the bacon was cooked to perfection! My significant other liked that they had a outdoor seating area set up for smokers as he is a smoker and overall we had one night and a very good stay. PS. If you want a parking spot close to the hotel not out in amens corner you must get to the hotel early. My significant other did not mind bringing the stuff in parked as far away because they do provide luggage carts that he could unload and I could take with me park the car. But had that not been the case it would have been a little more difficult with as far away as he had to park.”
