“This beautiful hotel is located next to Duke University and a beautiful golf course. If you’re a golf fan, it’ offers the best location and golf. The rooms are very comfortable and clean, they have an indoor pool and spa and a very nice restaurant on site. Highly recommend it. ”

“The hotel has very comfortable king beds, a nice couch to sit on and plenty of room. Staff was very nice and helpful and immediately made correct things that were not quite up to par: missing tv remote, uncomfortable roll away bed, and offered to change rooms for a dripping shower faucet. The lobby was nice and food looked ok although we are out at nearby good restaurants. Valet parking was good although not inexpensive. Other members of our party needed more towels, tissue and staff took care of it right away. We did not use the fitness facilities. This was the busy weekend and the staff tried to make things nice and welcoming. Rates were on the high end due to graduations. ”

“I chose to stay here over other local chain hotels such as a number of local area hiltons, doubletree, Hyatt etc. The reviews are very high and it looked like the better option in comparison to the aforementioned hotels however I was a little disappointed. I would definitely say that the photos online are not an accurate depiction of the room I was checked into. It is very dated, smelled of cigarette smoke and lacked the aire of sophistication I was expecting. I only stayed for one night so it served its purpose. The staff was very friendly.”

“This is a relatively new property. The road noise (room was at the end of the hallway) was very loud and went on most of the night. Breakfast was pretty average but the "scrambled" eggs were way overcooked and then left on the steam top until they baked into an overcooked, hard, mess. They advertise daily room cleaning but only until 1:30 - the deadline isn't mentioned anywhere. Nice place, but ask for room way away from the road.”

“We had a great stay here. It was conveniently located near the interstate. It was very clean. Staff were not very personable and acted like it was an inconvenience for us to check in. There was some serious miscommunication for times of things. We could not find anywhere in our room the check out time or breakfast time. I looked it up online on their website and it stated breakfast was from 6-930 am and check out was 12 pm. I received our invoice in my email and it said check out was 11 am. We went down for breakfast a few minutes before 9 am and nearly missed breakfast because it really ended at 9. My kids were so disappointed because they love hotel breakfasts and the waffles. There was basically nothing left. So that was very irritating that nothing is communicated properly. The parking tag in our car said check out was 1130 am. So I could not tell you what time check out really is. Overall it was nice. ”

“First time staying in this hotel. This is an excellent for anyone looking for a complete and full service hotel. It has an inside fully functioning bar and restaurant that serves Breakfast. lunch and dinner. (Breakfast is a separate charge) There was complementary coffee and teas by the front desk. The hotel is very clean throughout including the rooms. Reserved a room with a handicap accessible shower stall. The room was very spacious and temperature control. The staff was friendly and most helpful at the front desk and restaurant. The location is very near most of the Duke University and different medical facilities.”
