“I travel extensively for business and visiting Austin. I was looking forward to staying in this hotel. It has a nice location downtown near the university with easy access to creek trails. The lobby is charming. The reason I have only given three stars is that the room is not well appointed. I paid for a pool view room and did not have a view of the pool. There is no coffee maker in the room. The fridge did not keep food, cold and leaked water on my food From excess condensation. The mirror in the bathroom has an awkward angle and is too high such that I can’t see myself in it. The shower had a musty smell, when turned on. The TVs are not smart TVs nor can you screencast. Basic TV only - no Netflix, etc. Bedding and pillows were very nice. Housecleaning did a nice job.. Valet service attendees were incredible. Unfortunately, I could’ve gotten twice the amenities for half the price at a local chain hotel. ”
