“Friendly staff, and also friendly fellow travellers the night I stayed here! They had set up a campfire and invited me to join them. The rooms look like shipping containers which is super cool. Bed is extremely comfy! Breakfast was also fantastic! Only negative is it is slightly far from things, so make sure to get an e-bike beforehand, as the road to this place has a slope.”

“6 adorable cats roaming around the hotel and surprisingly no cat litter smell. Hotel and room was clean, modern and instagramable. However, there were no view for Sun Moon Lake. Breakfast was amazing and would recommend to stay at Doris for the night if you would like to stay overnight at Sun Moon Lake.”

“The hotel is beautifully located with a clear and stunning lake view. The atmosphere is peaceful, everything is very clean, and the attention to detail is outstanding. What impressed me the most was the exceptional hospitality. The staff were genuinely kind, attentive, and thoughtful — noticing even the smallest things that I didn’t think of myself. It’s clear that the hotel never compromises on standards. Every staff member went above and beyond. You can feel that they put their heart into every part of the service, making me feel truly special and well taken care of. I was genuinely touched. If I have the chance, I would definitely come back again.”
