“I had reserved a Suite for this reservation. It was for the night of February 24/25 and I was driving all night to arrive in Udon Thani at 05:30 the morning of the 25th. My girlfriend would meet me and we would eat, I could shower and rest a little before check out time later that morning. I had explained this in a request to the hotel when I made the reservation and they had answered back with their approval. I arrive, there is confusion and the night manager was located. There was an error and NO Suite available, instead I was given a small, cramped economy room with two twin beds. My money was partially refunded which was understandable but the room was cursed with a bad smell that was extremely noticeable upon entering and I explained this to the mgr. this issue was addressed by offering a Suite when someone checked out and the room cleaned. This was not acceptable. I kept the smelly room I had been given, room 309, and my girlfriend arrived and noticed the smell immediately upon entering. The room was clean, the staff professional, great location next to the highway, but the overall experience and solution were disappointing. ”

“We chose here mainly due to its location relative to the eye clinic where I was to have my operation and that it is pet friendly. It is out of the way but we had our own transport, so not a huge issue for us. The owner was very nice, though the lady who cleans could maybe be a bit more friendly, but did her job. What was odd was that there was an additional charge to use the swimming pool, that's a first. And you had to select morning or afternoon. No restaurant facility, though the owner did make us a cup of coffee on the first morning, as there are no kettles, cups etc provided in the room. This place has so much potential that isn't being exploited. If I had to go to Udon Thai again, I would easily stay here, though I'd expect the pool to be included in the price. ”
