“We are a family with three children. Initially, I planned to book a family room, but unfortunately, it was fully booked. Instead, I reserved a standard room at Palm Grove, a budget-friendly 3-star hotel. Despite this, it's worth noting that it's a family-friendly and children-friendly hotel. The manager/owner and staff were incredibly accommodating, providing us with an extra bed for free so that our kids could have one, given their ages of 4, 7, and 10. For those planning a trip to Pagudpud with family and pets, I highly recommend this place. It's conveniently located within walking distance to the beachfront, offers 2 swimming pools, a restaurant, and a sari-sari store, all adding to the overall convenience, and they consistently maintain the pool's cleanliness. The restaurant serves good food at reasonable prices; I recommend trying their tapa—it's soft and tasty. Our standard room has a small refrigerator, a closet with hangers, a TV with cable, a vanity table with a mirror and chair, an extra small table; the shower has a warmer, and they also provide a tabo and pail. The toilet flushes well, the sink has a mirror, and they provide shampoo, conditioner, and hand soap. They also provided extra pillows and a free bed. Thank you so much, management! This is superb! However, there were some things I didn't like: 1. The tiles are very slippery when wet. I strongly suggest adding more anti-slip mats. 2. Some visitors are undisciplined and noisy. This seems more like an attitude problem on the part of the visitors and is not the responsibility of the management, ofcourse. 3. Unfortunately, we didn't check the weather before heading to Pagudpud, and it turned out to be cloudy, rainy, and windy. We couldn't enjoy the pool and beach, which was disappointing. However, locals informed us that this weather is typical during the ber-months, and the best time to visit for sunny weather is in March and April. Despite this, the hotel made us feel at home, and we appreciate their hospitality. We plan to return, preferably in April, and wish them continued success. 4. Weak Wi-Fi signal. 5. The room is a little smelly; I suggest disinfecting the walls and floors. In general, we will definitely go back to pagudpud and book here, maybe next time we will bring the rest of our family. “the only thing I like about this resort is it is beach front. rooms are quite ok coz we don't have a choice. no ref in the room, we were assigned to a room but they suddenly changed it coz keys are unavailable unfortunately the room had a busted water heater and they gave us kettle. but I asked for a change of room and they allowed us (the original room that we were supposed to get). we only got our free breakfast on the last day coz the STAFFS are late to open the resto on WEEKDAYS. they said they are open 7:30am but they always open late. the construction workers even came earlier than them (there's a repair ongoing when we went there) its not a buffet breakfast by the way, you will have to choose from the menu. ”

“Very affordable and budget-friendly resort- hotel just few meters away from the beach. Just have basic needs like aircon, water heater, table and chairs, cabinet and tv inside the room. With free wifi and offers fre drinking water. Very friendly and accommodating staff. With cafeteria within the premises. Safe area. ”
