“Wonderful location. Staff were outstanding at check-in/out. Room did have a musty smell but was able to open Balcony door so that was quickly eliminated. We would stay here again. ”

“Stunning hotel inside and out. Rated a couple areas of 4 star due to servie at the lobby bar...there were 4 gals behind the bar, we were the only ones AT the bar and they just kept chatting and cleaning silverware! One of them was great yet we had to ask them to move the crashing silverware and then she dropped the whole container of it on the floor. The bar areas are set up like a restauant insted of a relaxing bar. The room was lovely, small. The shower door was not sealed correctly and the entire bathroom floor flooded as we couldn't keeo the water in the shower area. Fabulous location, we didn't try the restauanrt yet it looks beautiful. Would still recommend for sure. ”

“The hotel is a boutique hotel. Probably one of the nicest I’ve ever stayed at in terms of design, cleanliness, and staff. However, two issues are that there is a church that rings it’s bells every morning at 6:30am every half hour until like 10pm. The second is the water runs between scalding hot and lava. There is nothing in between. That being said, it was a decent value and if you can tolerate third-degree burns or sleep through church bells ringing right next door, this is the best hotel in the area besides probably the La Compania one which is twice as expensive.”

“The staff was very attentive to our needs and very helpful in answering question about the area. Room was spacious and tastefully decorated. Grounds were lovely, pool appreciated on a warm day!”

“3 weeks here at $25/night and all fine mostly, except Friday nights, when it seems the owners "family or friends?" Sit on the 7th floor balcony drinking beer all night. This area was right above my room so their kids running across for an hour at 9pm made me go up and politely ask them to refrain, as I was studying.  They complied until 11pm, then started running and scraping chairs. I went up again and said I don't want to hear noise now it's 11pm. Later, they got a stereo system and played music so loud, I thought it was a club nearby. I hardly slept all night. At 6am, I went up to the balcony and found a few of the same group playing the music! One of them, still drinking, gave me the aggressive shoulder shrug, like "yeah? What?" What is worse was one of the staff from reception,  who I initially asked to stop the kids scraping the chairs and running across my ceiling, was still there drinking too, but did nothing to turn down the music for any other guests trying to sleep, not just me. Unbelievable, careless behaviour! Clients' wellbeing means nothing to this management, absolutely disrespectful and selfish, confrontational behaviour. All I want now is my money back for my discomfort and sleepless night, but that will probably be a hassle with agoda. Couldn't complain this morning as all management were off the weekend...as they'd only just gone to fkin bed after 6am. Disgusting situation. ”

“Hotel is located at the end of casco viejo and it is budget stay. No window, and if stay on first floor, can’t hear the music from the bar. Valet is an outside source or you can park at a close lot. Overall it is a good stay. ”
