“Unit was located right in central georgetown, making getting around extremely convenient. Rooms were bigger than expected, with a living area in 2- definitely exceeded my expectations! The main area when entering has a small open area, which allowed us to enjoy it whenever it rained. However, only downside was due to the open nature, the main entrance got dusty quite quickly, but wasn’t really an issue considering house slippers were provided in the unit. Kudos to the staff, as they were extremely responsive when we had issues with lighting in the bathroom. Would definitely be my top pick if i’m in Penang! ”

“The hotel staff is very helpful and polite, giving suggestions about food and places to visit. They provided a free coupon for afternoon tea btw 3 to 5 pm, where kuih and fresh fruits was served with either tea or coffee, during the time we stayed. There are a few good food places within walking distance of the hotel. You can have local street food at Kimberley Street Food Night Market, 1 street away. Chowrasta Market is just 1 street away, where you can venture in the morning for breakfast at the various coffeeshops. Or you can have koay teow tng in the alley next to the hotel (pics). The only issue at the moment, is noise from the cars and motorcycles passing the hotel, after midnight, there is less noise, as less traffic pass by. The hotel has said they are trying to install better noise insulation when they are able to.”

“We had a pleasant stay at the apartment. Initially we encountered some problems with the Management of the building, but was quickly resolved by the Host. The Host was helpful, understanding and accommodating to our needs. The place was conveniently located as we were able get food and sundry easily. Especially early in the morning, there was a stall located across the street selling all kinds of local food for breakfast. The beach was just minutes walk away.”
