“This place was about 30-45 mins from the Cancun Airport- you have to find your own transportation if you do not have a car. Upon arrival, the place was beautiful and clean. After we checked in they escorted us to a guy who gave us a small breakdown of the resort . He told us they were trying to promote their sister resort and that we were entitled to a breakfast and presenation of the resort. Shortly after he then pried into our relationship to see if we live together or are married which I thought was very bizzare. After answering him he told us we did not qualify to see the new resort and I realized this was a timeshare scam. The first night we were not able to make any reservations for dinner as they were fully booked so we settled for the only option which was the buffet. The buffet had many food options but not all was labelled correctly and was confusing to follow. There was also not a lot of staff to attend the stations to serve you, so there was a lot of waiting. The room was clean and spacious. We had water leakage issues twice in the bathroom that were addressed quickly but did take a good hour to fix each time. The first morning we went to the amazing coffee shop and were quickly approached shortly after leaving, to sign up for tours and to see the sister resort. The guy was nice but can tell it was sketchy and scamish. He even tried to offer us under the table prices (cash only) for tours we were looking at. Of course we did not take the offers . The first day at the pool we had a hard time finding empty chairs as people leave the area and do not take their towels. When we finally sat we were quickly approached by a lady to sign up for a tour. The pool areas were loud with terrible music and the staff trying to make the people in the pool participate in different things. The food places had a set menu that did not change each day. Most of the restaurants are enclosed except the Italian one so bring bug spray if you need to. At the Hibachi place,”

“We did not want to leave! After having to cut our Cancún trip short due to a hurricane we came further down the coast and very last minute booked a King ocean view room here. This was one of the most incredible resorts we have ever stayed at. Every detail is curated, the entertainment, amenities, rooms, food, the staff are so so attentive, overall the experience was some of the best we have had anywhere in the world. You will not regret staying here! Thanks for having us. ”
