“If you’re looking for the absolute heart of the action with a team that treats you like royalty, Crystal Suites Insurgentes is undeniably the king of the neighborhood. The location is a perfect 10/10, and the staff are so attentive I’m convinced they might be psychic—they truly make the stay. However, stepping into the room is a bit like a charming trip back in time, specifically to an era where "maintenance" was a future problem. A few quirks to keep in mind for the conscious traveler: - The Soundproofing: The room doors are more of a "suggestion" than a barrier; you’ll feel very intimately connected to every conversation in the hallway. - The Furniture: The armchairs appear to be carved from volcanic rock. They are incredibly sturdy, but your lower back might prefer a park bench. - The "Mini-Pantry": My minifridge has officially entered retirement. It no longer cools things, but it makes for a lovely, dark cupboard for warm milk. Despite the urgent need for a toolkit and some new upholstery, this remains the best option in the area . It has character, soul, and the best service around. Just maybe bring a travel cushion and an ice bucket. ”
