“Our recent stay at this property was disappointing. While the location was decent for shopping, the value for money was lacking. The cleanliness of the rooms left much to be desired and the staff were not particularly helpful. The facilities were average, but nothing stood out as exceptional. Overall, we were not satisfied with our experience here.”

“We went to the Parsonage for 3 nights. The room was comfortable, a little dated, but quiet and roomy. The spa is a great facility, I went 4 times during my stay and really enjoyed it. We ate in the Fat Abbot each evening and the food was lovely and good value. The location is good for the York Park and Ride which is located within the outlet centre, also worth a visit. We went to Scarborough for a day which took around 1 hour. Location of the hotel is also good for the A64 to Scarborough or Leeds.”

“The members of the staff are very polite and friendly, a special mentioned to Alvaro who made me feel very valued as a guest at arrival. The views, the bar and the surroundings are amazing. My room was big and had everything one could hope for a pleasant evening. The bed extremely comfortable. The only let down was that I booked this venue particularly for the use of the pool and jacuzzi as I was looking for a day of relaxation but at 10am that hope for a quiet enjoyable spa morning was interrupted by group baby swimming lessons. The pool was taken over, the songs still in my head which meant I couldn’t really relax in the jacuzzi or read my book as there was too many people and noise. As cute as it was it was unexpected and disruptive. The changing room was impossible to use as there was mums with the babies on the floor changing them and I couldn’t even walk around, I had to shower and get changed back in my room. If I had known at the point of booking I would probably have made me change my choice of place to stay. Having said that, I do recommend the stay, just check day and timings if using the pool and jacuzzi is part of your plan. ”
