“Good place to stay ”

“ We were on a 21 day trip with 2 luggages and stayed 3 nights here. No fridge in room so had to deposit our medication and fridge in restaurant as recommended. On checkout they could not find what we deposited with them! Hotel has no elevator and we were on the top floor. Imagine lugging our big luggage bags up 5 flights of steps with 8 steps each. Since we have a car, location was not important. Hotel has no carpark. ”

“The location is beautiful as it is in front of the river. It is a bit further from the Portree City Center and one needs to take a taxi to go to the center, however, the rooms and everything else, including the facilities and the restaurant were wonderful. The rooms are quite big considering other places in the UK and the bathrooms are massive and luxurious. The staff was also extremely courteous and helpful. I came earlier than the check in time, however, they accommodated and gave the room early. It was a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The prices of the room and of the food at the restaurant are a bit on the expensive side so it merits a stay for a special occasion. For Muslim travelers, it should be noted that the bathrooms have bidets which are very convenient. All in all, it was a great stay. ”
