“Room was lovely, a decor of hotel nice. Arrival greeting was really good, with a free drink. There was an electrical fault across the hotel when arrived, this can happen of course, but didn’t affect us and were still shown to room. Service at breakfast really let us down. No water, took ages to get served, food was basic. We used the concierge parking, was a bit of a nightmare. Were told to give half an hour notice, which we did. We waited in the room for a call to see when car was ready, no call. Rang them up, and was told the message wasn’t passed down, so had to wait a further half an hour! May as well have parked in NCP and walked to save myself an hour. Was expecting more”

“We stayed one night for a special occasion. On arrival we were upgraded slightly which meant we had a larger room. The staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable about things to do locally. The room was great but don’t expect a view. ”
