“The Grand was a good pick, great location & we had a nice big room & bathroom with a really powerful hot shower - no matter the time of day; but we did have to pay extra for a Sea View Room which my booking stated it was, but at the hotel it differed, it did make all the difference to our stay. We overlooked the pier with fairground rides so was a little worried about that waking us early - but it didn’t start until @mid day & we can’t say it was loud. The evening meal was ok - good value but a bit bland ( but the clientele were a bit older so possibly like plainer food. The breakfast was spot on - set you up for the day & we sat at the window overlooking the sea it was fab. Entertainment on the 2 nights consecutively which we were not expecting was good. The Great Orme is behind the hotel & we had a tremendous walk for most of the afternoon on it. ”

“We stayed at Headlands in April 2025, as a family of 4 including to young teenagers plus the dog. The hotel retains many original features and was very clean throughout. Although it appeared to have been fairly recently decorated, some simple improvements could make it a solid 5* rating; examples: hot running water (the only hot water in the room/en suite was from electric shower), replace pillows (incredibly firm, hardbin fact, and really uncomfortable (other guests commented on this too)), repairs: coax socket hanging off, bathroom door had a hole in it, bathroom door handle loose. The room was spotlessly clean, the breakfast was good, and the staff polite and it's in a convenient and gorgeous spot. would we stay there again??... not unless they change the pillows at the very least.”
