“Perfect hotel stay whilst seeing family, and a cheeky trip to Cheshire Oaks. It’s a motorway hotel but unlike some I’ve stayed in had everything you would need, food, a bar, really helpful staff. It was dog friendly that didn’t over charge for letting your dog stay there. The service station had everything with only a stone throw away. It had McDonald’s to hit that craving, a spar which wasn’t over priced and other retailers that are always handy. Ultimately I would stay there again when see family (and the Oaks☺️) ”

“This is a modern hotel that has catered work space and relaxation space for the youngsters and play space for the children. A slight downside is that certain colour schemes make the room a bit dim for the elderly. ”

“The room was pretty clean and tidy. However, stairs were steep and dangerous, and there is no lift. These people close at 9pm, so not sure how anyone wanting to check in after 9pm is dealt with.We were given a room on second floor with old steep victorian style stairs Also, there is no dedicated car park. The nearest car park is paid and is about 5min walk away. The room however is clean and staff are friendly. I will not recommend this place if you are travelling with family. However, as a solo traveller, it is alright.”

“Enjoyed our stay at the Queen. There was no early check-in, but they will store your bags, if need be. A/C worked great and our room was updated. Although the hotel is about a 15-20 minute walk to the old town, it's situated right across the street from the train station. We would definitely stay there again.”
