“We stayed in Radisson Blu for 5 nights. Personally, it’s an excellent location. It’s in the business district, which gave us a feeling of greater safety. In contrast, at the city proper, we were always told by tour guides to watch over our belongings. And for this reason alone, I don’t mind staying here again. The mall is also near a great mall, Parque Arauco. It was a 10-15 minute walk. We availed of the breakfast. Cooking is good, but the same for all days. At some point, of course, we got tired of the same scrambled eggs served. The breakfast is primarily western fare, and I was hoping that they’d have a dish or two that’s Chilean. Rooms are cleaned very well, though refill of the water and replacement of tissues were at times inconsistent. Gym: well equipped but can be crowded if you exercise at past 7:00am. But — open 24 hours. Pool: Was a bit of a disappointment. It opens at 9:00am. This is inconvenient for tourists like us, because we would/should be out on tour by then. Front desk: Thankfully, we were allowed to check in early given that we arrived at the hotel at around 7am, and of course, we agreed to pay an additional night’s charge. I guess the disappointment was during checkout. We wanted to extend and we were willing to pay for it. Two days before checkout, I already inquired about it. The lady at the front desk told us to come back on the day of our checkout. I asked if the hotel is fully booked on the day of our checkout (Saturday), and she said she didn’t know. On the eve of our checkout, Saturday at 1:00am, I asked the front desk again, and the same lady if the hotel is fully booked and inquired again about an extended checkout. She curtly replies and says: “As I’ve told you before, you will find out on the day of checkout.” (Uhm, Señorita, it was THE day of checkout already). And we were told to come back during breakfast. So during breakfast, we got an official answer. Hotel was supposedly fully booked, but we were allowed late checkout at 1:00pm. The strange thing: I checked both Agoda and Expedia. They had at least 5 rooms available. Take note: I was willing to pay full price for an additional night to extend until 6 or 7pm. But at some point, one gets tired of dealing with a frontliner who come across as uncaring, and kinda stain the experience for you. Hopefully, she is an exception to the others who otherwise, made our stay a good one. ”

“Walking distance to Metro and a few restaurants. A bit of a walk to the main shops and park. Breakfast is ok. It is a busy hotel with business travelers and some families. The hotel rooms can get quite confusing because the design of the buildings are not efficiently connected. ”

“Service was top-notch here, both from the front desk (Savka was infinitely helpful) and at the buffet breakfast place, which was inside the Marriott Hotel (the two share the building) but separate from it. Breakfast was delightful, with lots of fruit and pastry options. Our room was generous in space, clean, and had every bit of amenities we needed during our couple of days' stay. Location was also strategic in the high-end Las Condes neighbourhood. The hotel stands near a large park, Parque Araucano, and the vast Parque Arauco shopping centre.”
