“Room was clean and comfy, furnishings were a bit worn. Pool and hot tub were used and enjoyed, although a bit dirty. The lounge downstairs served good food at expected prices. Overall I was happy with my stay, especially for the discounted price. ”

“The travellodge is great as long as you arn't in "the tower." The pool is newly renovated and a great experience! There are two pool rooms. One with a deeper pool, hottub and a splash park and the other room has a kiddie pool, regular pool, two waterslides and a hot tub. The rooms are across from each other which is a bit unfortunate and one room always seems more full than the other. The rooms are okay. They are clean. Nothing super exceptional about them though. No art on the walls or anything "extra" to make your stay better. Just the basics. It does feel more industrial. No carpet, walls have rivits in them. Also the hotel often has indigenous conferences. So if you go there will probably be a hotel full of people even during the week.”

“The hotel was booked on a second party app, there was no mention that the pool and hot tub was closed on this app. While the hotel staff was apologetic they explained we booked through the second party booker and that it was stated on their site that these amenities were not available. There was some confusion because the company name was not the same as the one I actually booked on. Even after showing hotel staff our confirmation with a different company name they were silent. SO buyer beware that there can be some missing information on these sites. The staff were unable or unwilling to explain how this works and didn't seem to offer much more than a shrug and a weak apology. This seems to place the burden on the consumer to double check the amenities on the hotel's web site and I would recommend taking a screen shot at the time you book as well. That hiccup aside the hotel was just average. The staff could be more responsive. I did left a personal item behind and while I called four different times to the lost and found housekeeping number leaving longer and more pleading messages I did not receive a call back. This was disappointing as well. This hotel would not be my first choice when booking a stay in Saskatoon again. ”
