“도착 시 친절한 직원, 10층에 발코니가 있는 객실, 매우 깨끗하고 풍성한 아침 식사, 코파카바나 해변과 가까움, 호텔을 떠날 때 수많은 레스토랑, 국제적인 고객. 매우 불행한 점: TV에 프랑스어 채널이 없음, 욕실 조명이 좋지 않음, 엘리베이터가 너무 느림, 목공예품을 새로 고칠 가치가 있음 ”

“I will cover the pros and cons: Pros: Staff are exceptionally friendly and very helpful. Food is absolutely delicious in the marine restaurant. Pool bar has perfect views of the beach and surrounding mountains with great facilities, including a bar and food made to order. Room service available (I didn't use it but the menu was very good). Reception offers to store luggage securely after checkout and also allow you to continue using all the facilities, the kind man at receptionist actually said "you are still our guest" which I thought was a nice thing to say. Cons: I requested a room that faced the beach well in advance, I was given a room on the other side which had terrible views. My curtains remained closed for my entire stay. I was disappointed by this, as one of the main reasons I chose to pay £300+ extra, was to stay in this area and be on seafront. That made my decision pointless. I asked if I could be moved rooms, but was told it was not possible. I was given a voucher for 2 complimentary drinks, which were restricted to soft drinks or a Caipirinha. I have to admit, I was disappointed by this, despite how nice the hotel and staff were. My recommendation is to make absolutely sure you get a room at the front of the hotel, if you'd like to wake up to the beautiful seafront. Hallways are small and quite noisy. I had a number of children playing in the corridor at around 7.30am in the morning. Lifts can also create some background noise, but nothing too bad. Overall, I would still recommend this hotel for it's lovely staff, location and facilities - particularly the rooftop pool bar and the restaurant. ”

“Excellent location but the rooms, amenities and facilities lack the luxury expected of a “Grand Mercure” brand. No complementary coffee, even as a Nespresso machine is provided. Complementary water is limited to what is provided on your first day. Usual amenities expected on arrival in the toilet (eg razors, toothbrushes) are not provided. Though not a major issue for me, I was surprised that a “classic” branded room means an inner facing room without a view.”

“꼭대기 층은 엘리베이터가 없고, 한층 걸어 올라가야함. 제일 높은 층 배정해준것도 좀 이해 안됨 ㅋㅋ; 방문 키 작동 잘 안됨. 호텔에서 여행하고 돌아오면 항상 리셉션에서 키를 다시 등록해야했음. 호텔 밖 1km 이상 떨어지면 카드키가 리셋된다는데, 상식적으로 가능한지 모르겠음. 그냥 싸게 하루 이틀 머물거면 나쁘지 않음. 치안 무서운거 없었고, 위치는 좋음. 주변 대형 마트는 현금만 받는 곳이 많으며, e-sim은 호텔 근처 가판대에서 파는 할아버지에게 구매했었음. 싸고 많은 데이터 잘 썼음.”

“Some building work going on in the hotel which was not a problem as we were out the majority of the day. But using the lifts took some time as the builders were using them to transport materials up and down.”
