“The "but" is for 2 reasons. 1. Although there is hot water, our room on the ground floor had its hot water supply from a tank upstairs which is also where the switch for the water heater was and the staff didn't seem to appreciate that we preferred a hot shower, regardless of the temperature outside and often turned off the hot water without letting us know, not nice waking up to a cold shower. Kitchen staff was very friendly and accommodating but do with a bit of coaching on preparation of some Western dishes. However, remember they were under no obligation to prepare meals for us but happily did so at the request of some of the 9-member contingent of which we were a part.”

“The hotel has potential but needs lots of improvement - we were in a luxurious suite with a bathtub/shower, and a separate shower, and couldn’t get more than a minimal pressure drip from the stand-alone shower (absolutely nothing from tub/shower). The housekeeping was weak, and the buffet breakfast was thoroughly underwhelming. On the bright side, a man named Abduhl was a STELLAR employee - helped relocate us, helped fix TV and a/c…..totally went out of his way more than once. We liked the location, and the pool was nice given the outside heat. ”
