“Maya Maya at Mandoon Estate is a beautiful escape—peaceful, spacious, and effortlessly scenic. Waking up to vineyard views on one side and the river on the other feels a bit magical, and the “pink path” linking the rooms to the restaurant, bar, and reception adds a charming touch. The location strikes a sweet balance: tucked away from the city, yet still conveniently close.
That said, the stay isn’t flawless. Housekeeping and maintenance need attention—dust, cobwebs on windows and blinds, and a bathroom that didn’t feel properly cleaned took away from the experience. Some furniture, especially the couch, was visibly stained and let the room down.
Overall, a stunning setting with great staff and atmosphere—but it needs better upkeep to match its potential.”
