“Parking is just outside the room. Location is central and convenient. Room is spacious with comfortable bedding. There are also fresh and extra linen. Room was clean daily and kitchenette is well-stocked with generous supply of coffee and tea, making it easy to enjoy a hot beverage anytime (except for the capsule coffee machine that is overdue for cleaning). Overall, a delightful stay.”

“Lovely staff, welcoming and helpful. Hotel in a great location for access to the waterfront. Very comfortable bed and spacious room. The room we had you need to shower in the dark otherwise the other people in the room have a good view of you through the slightly frosted glass. Also when the room above you uses shower or bath the water noise is very loud. Only small issues for a lovely stay.”

“We visited Hobart for 3 Nights and were amazed with scenic views of Hotel Grand Chancellor. While we wanted harbour facing view but we got mountain facing which was too good. Location of hotel is perfect and is close to salamanka market where you have lot of pubs and restaurants and the walk around wharf is anyway amazing. MONA ferry also departs from there which is around 350 m from hotel. Food was decent. However, few things can be improved like customer service. Staff doesn't seem too friendly and interested in resolving queries.When asked for vegetarian food and if it has egg, the way staff responded was not pleasant. Parking is paid which can be waived for guests staying in. Overall, a good hotel location and price wise.”

“This guest house is extremely beautiful filled with personal antiquities that give it so much character. Designed with a European touch to it, this accommodation is rather a special gem that complements the landscape that Hobart has to offer. The host that welcomed my daughter and I was Ashley, and he radiates so much warmth and kindness, making it feel like family was welcoming you into their home. They also offer unlimited pastries and snacks that you could have throughout the day, which I think was such a special thing to prepare for guests. The views from every corner is also absolutely gorgeous, giving you peace and tranquility no matter the time and season. Will surely come back with my family as the location (a 10-minute walk to the city centre), the host, and the overall feel is just superb!”
