“It's a great place if you're staying with kids. We stayed in a motel room. Really basic but for the price was ok. It backs onto the highway though so if you're sensitive to noise, you've been warned. You could spend hours here just in the water park! People staying here were nice too. But remember - You're either here with a family /kids or you're an older traveller. Will stay again”

“We stayed here for a week - family of 4, kids 4yo and 7yo. The room was clean and well serviced daily. Staff were helpful. Conference facilities were fantastic. Kids were obsessed with the pool. Things I would like to see: 1. At least one of the many restaurants cater for dietary requirements. My husband is coeliac and we couldn’t eat at any of the venues (we don’t need it to be 100% gluten free, just prepared in a kitchen that understands cross contamination) which was super frustrating and kind of odd that such a huge place that had events there all the time doesn’t offer. 2. The parking situation is terrible. All week we were fighting for a park literally anywhere on site, driving around and around and stalking people to their cars. With two kids, this was pretty annoying, especially when we could see that most people taking all the parks (and at times parking wherever and blocking us in) were attending events and not guests of the hotel. The parking is free but I would have preferred to pay so I know I can come and go and get a spot! 3. Would be great to have a room service app / QR code set up so you don’t have to call and wait and try and remember what it was you want from the menu on the TV screen (which I couldn’t see because of where the room phone was situated). Just a suggestion. Overall - would stay again especially for a conference, but perhaps not with a coeliac husband and young kids!”

“Stayed for just one night as was competing in an event at the nearby Carrara Indoor Sports Stadium. Room was SPOTLESSLY clean. I’m a bit of a clean freak, so cleanliness is super important to me, and I’d stay here again in a heartbeat, despite the couple of negatives mentioned below. First, no breakfast was offered… it’s not a big deal as there’s a 7/11 about 2 minutes walk away, with coffee and snacks, but for some guests, that might be a problem. Secondly, I booked/requested a twin room but got a double/queen. We did get free access to the attached sports centre’s mini golf course, which was really fun. They also have a driving range which seemed well maintained and very reasonably priced. I’ll certainly be staying again if competing nearby in the future! ”

“저희는 이 리조트에서 단 하루만 묵었지만, 있는 동안 최대한 즐기려고 노력했어요. 급하게 예약했는데 운 좋게도 2베드룸 빌라를 구할 수 있었답니다. 객실은 꽤 괜찮았고, 에어컨도 잘 작동하고 공간도 넉넉했어요. 테라스에서 저녁을 먹으려고 했는데 모기에 너무 심하게 물려서 포기했어요. 에어컨은 정말 효과적이었어요. 대형 TV도 있었는데 (라운지와 너무 가까워서 좀 크긴 했지만, 작은 것보다는 큰 게 낫죠!), 침대는 정말 푹신해서 하루 종일 돌아다닌 후에는 푹 잘 수 있었어요. 미니 골프, 수영장, 스파, 에어바운스, 고카트도 이용했어요. 고카트는 예상치 못한 추가 요금이었는데 (다른 모든 시설은 포함되어 있는 줄 알았거든요), 아이들은 정말 신나게 탔어요. 샤워기 수압도 좋고 따뜻한 물도 잘 나와서 좋았어요. 키즈 클럽은 이용하지 않았지만, 다른 활동들을 보니 아이들이 좋아할 것 같았어요. 아침 식사도 리조트에서 했는데, 양도 푸짐하고 맛있었어요. 하루를 시작하기에 완벽한 곳이었죠. 대부분의 직원들이 정말 친절하고 도움이 많이 되었습니다. 다만 밤에 음악과 PA 시스템 소음이 아이들이 자는 데 방해가 되는 점은 아쉬웠습니다. 8시 30분쯤에는 소음이 멈췄지만, 저희 아이 중 한 명은 꽤 멀리 떨어져 있었음에도 불구하고 소음 때문에 많이 불편해했습니다. 아이들 방으로 통하는 미닫이문이 제대로 열리지 않아 아이들이 잠을 제대로 못 자는 문제도 있었습니다 (부모가 TV를 보는 거실에서 새어 나오는 빛을 차단할 수 없었습니다). 빌라 옆 주차 공간은 넓어서 짐을 싣고 내리기에 충분했습니다. 냉장고도 넉넉한 크기였지만, 음료와 물을 시원하게 보관하는 용도 외에는 거의 사용하지 않았습니다. 리셉션 직원의 추천으로 "해변" 근처에 있는 피시 앤 칩스 가게에 갔는데, 가격 대비 정말 훌륭했습니다. 강력 추천합니다. 오후 1시 30분에는 피시 앤 칩스 가게에서 펠리컨 먹이 주기 행사도 진행했는데, 저희는 놓쳤지만 펠리컨들은 모두 잘 있었습니다. 해변은 그다지 좋지 않아서 리조트 내 수영장에서 시간을 보냈는데, 수영장은 정말 좋았습니다. 각 수영장마다 장단점이 있어서 모두를 위한 시설이 갖춰져 있었어요. 조용한 수영장 구역, 어린아이들을 위한 물통이 있는 공간, 수영장으로 이어지는 미끄럼틀, 스파 등 다양한 시설이 있었죠. 가족 휴가로 며칠씩 머물기에도 좋은 곳이지만, 성수기에는 가격이 너무 비싸서 저희 가족은 그러지 못했어요. 아이들이 스쿠터나 자전거를 가져오기에도 좋은 곳이에요(저희는 가져오지 않았지만요). 리조트 주변 도로에 차량 통행량이 많긴 하지만, 자전거, 카트, 스쿠터를 타는 아이들이 많아서 차량과 아이들 사이에 충분한 간격과 안전거리가 유지되었어요. 도착했을 때 리조트가 만실이라는 안내를 받았는데, 실제로 사람이 많긴 했지만 직원들이 항상 웃는 얼굴로 친절하게 대해줘서 그렇게 붐비는 느낌은 아니었어요. 리조트 곳곳에 여유로운 공간이 많아서 북적거리는 느낌도 없었고요. 짧지만 멋진 휴가를 보낼 수 있게 해줘서 정말 감사했어요! 아이들이 학교에 돌아가기 전 최고의 휴가를 보낼 수 있도록 모든 조건을 충족시켜 주었어요.”

“Resort has good facilities and spacious rooms however we experienced a series of unfortunate events 1) the phone in our room doesn't work though it got replaced the next day 2) the exhaust fan in bathroom doesn't work so there is high moisture / humidity which is unpleasant. we asked for repair but personnel never came 3) felt unwelcomed by the gay waitress during breakfast where i was the first one who ordered coffee and he told me he will bring to my table but we saw they served coffee to other guests and never served any coffee to us. i just never bothered to follow up anymore. 4) felt annoyed by the chinese/asian waitress because we just want to return the plates we borrowed together with the trash but she looked disgusted when i handed her the trash which is properly packed in plastic bags anyway i never really put any detailed review on my hotel bookings because most were a pleasant experience. i would only review in detail if there is something wrong. i have travelled so much around the world and i only experienced this kind of not so good hospitality in intercontinental sanctuary cove gold coast. maybe it is just unfortunate but maybe not. this is a 5 star hotel but the experience is not.”
