Habitacion Centrica Calle 8 Miami (2)

It’s not identified as a hostel, when booking, but is. . albeit ‘hostel’ in the sense of it being a collection of bedrooms with a single shared bathroom and a small shared space. Walls are thin and doors are thin: expect no noise blocking when more than 2 people are staying here. Location : excellent. Easy walking to several local restaurants and Miracle Mile. Close enough to airport for very affordable taxi service. Bed: in the ‘single’ room and at least one of the ‘double’ rooms, absolutely awful mattress. Like a combination of jail cell pad and an air mattress. Communication: all came in via Spanish. Owner doesn’t seem to speak/write English well, so this caused some problems with check-in. Check-in seems to be earlier (1pm) than posted via reservation (3pm) which lead to further confusion.
