Look, I'm going to try to keep it as objective as I can about this hotel... This hotel has roaches, roaches, and then more roaches. 😭 The rest of our stay, honestly, was almost perfect, but the roaches made a big impact on our general perspective. It's unfortunate, because you can really tell the owners are putting in lots of effort in all other areas that matter. Towels and toiletries are replenished daily, no exceptions, which is impressive for a hotel in this price range; the room is generally super clean (except for the unwanted visitors...), with literally 0 bedbugs or any other pests in sight, and very well-equipped, with pretty decor and a full kitchen and mini living room area; the price is super affordable, considering the perfect location the property is in,... If it weren't for the roaches, I think our stay would've genuinely been perfect. If you don't have a problem with this, come equipped with some traps and a can of bug spray, and you're 100% good, but just be prepared; we weren't expecting to see an average of about 5 cockroaches per night, throughout the 4 nights we stayed there. At some points it was literally baffling, how they would just come greet us at the door as soon as we walked in after a long day out. 💀 We really only used the room for sleeping, so I think this is partially why the cockroach issue impacted us so much; spending each night on edge and sleeping nervously really doesn't let you get much rest at all. Again, like I said, this is the one thing the hotel needs to improve to make it a perfect stay; I'd rather be paying $5 more per night or just cover the cost of the pest control within the total cost of our stay, in order to make this a truly exceptional stay. If that were the case, I think guests would leave much more pleased, and this would still be, by far, the cheapest hotel in this wonderful location, and thus one of the best value hotels in the area.
