The Mill Apartments Clare Valley

We only stayed here for one night but wish it had been longer. To start with, the communication was excellent! We had also asked if there was a possibility of an earlier check in as we were arriving sooner than planned. This was accommodated with ease. As soon as we opened the door, we were thoroughly impressed. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything you could want or hope for. Even a real plant! There are 2 TVs - it was so good to watch a little telly in bed after a long drive. The bed was so comfortable and the linen was gorgeous. The small details did not go unnoticed - the cushions were feather-filled, the toiletries were good quality. We didn't use the bath (sadly) but the shower was amazing - good pressure and a lovely rain-head. The biggest and most unexpected bonus were the complimentary nibbles. Breakfast - the freshest bread, good quality bacon, eggs, butter. There was also an array of cereal and condiments. And then...... Wine. Not one, but two. Best of all, you are located within walking distance of the supermarket, restaurants, pub, etc. We were blown away!!!!! If only we had more time to stay longer ... If ever we are back in Clare, we will most definitely return. A-mazing. 6 stars out of 5!!
