Zagreb has a tremendous amount of history and culture to offer the intrepid traveller and this apartment is right in the very middle of the old city. It is new, attractive, spacious and ideal for those who want to live like the locals. We consider ourselves fortunate to have booked it. Good restaurants are a 10 to 15 minute walk away. But the real attraction is the old city itself which, like many European Old Cities, has not only deep history, but a charm and atmosphere that is impossible to describe. Yet, all the modern conveniences in this apartment are available if you want to eat in. The winding staircase is narrow for those with large suitcases, so leave them on the main floor and just bring up what you need. The two washrooms are also a nice touch. Tomislav is a witty and welcoming host who will provide excellent suggestions for seeing the old city. He also arranged for a late night driving service from the airport for us, then met us for entry at midnight. How's that for service excellence? The only thing we found missing was a laundry washing machine, but that's a minor quibble and only important for those like us staying multiple nights. I cannot recommend these apartments enough.
