It’s the staff that make this place special. From the moment you enter you are made to feel welcome and given all the information from highly trained and friendly people. We were only staying the one night before heading to the airport early so although offered an upgrade we didn’t feel it necessary on this occasion. The building itself is beautiful and we had a room with the terrace that overlooked the view albeit over the restaurant while people were eating till quite late so not very private. The room was very clean and bed very comfortable just a small issue with the drain smell from the bathroom but I guess to be expected from such an old building, it didn’t impact our stay. Would highly recommend to visit this place for a short stay. The restaurant also to the front of the hotel in the courtyard was very good food and well priced and great atmosphere Inside the hotel had a restaurant which was fine dining with the amazing view but that view comes at a very high price.
