The hotel is well-located with easy access to bus and metro stations. The public areas of the property is charming, with a courtyard and pool, though it does show noticeable wear and tear. Staff were responsive and handled key issues quickly. However, we experienced two major incidents requiring room changes. First, the shower hose burst during use and couldn’t be repaired, prompting a move. The next morning, we discovered large bed bugs and stains on the sheets and pillows --blood and poop, which led to another room change (this time with an upgrade). Our clothes were laundered free of charge upon request given the severity of the situation, and staff offered an apology note with dessert. Unfortunately, we are still dealing with the aftermath of bed bug bites a week later. The final room was acceptable, though the shower controls were misaligned, hot water came from the cold setting, and the wrong showerhead would activate. Despite the staff’s efforts, these serious issues make it hard to recommend this hotel.
