The room was clean and had amenities, including free snacks and water. The water was replenished every day. Same for shampoo, soap, and body cleanser. The room itself was a bit dark and didn't have a functional window. The only window in the room was covered by nontransparent sheet that didn't let almost any sunlight in. Don't expect to have any view there. The TV in the room was not a modern smart TV. It had 24 cable channels (1 of which just played hotel advertisements constantly). It had Discovery channel, Animal Planet, an Italian channel, a French channel, a Russian channel, Fox News, some financial/stocks trading channel and some Indonesian channels. It does not support casting to it, so no Netflix or similar things. We tried updating the apps to support streaming platforms like that - after several crashes, Netflix launched, but no account was available. There was no fridge, even though it is a 4 star hotel according to the published rating. The bathroom, while a bit grimey and showing signs of wear and tear, was actually very good. The shower was working well, hot water was available and lasted a long time. The bidet was a bit awkwardly placed, but still worked fine. The flush buttons easily got stuck, so you have to pay attention, otherwise the toilet will continue flushing forever. Just press the button again to unstuck it. The bed itself was comfortable, but pillows were too soft, it wasn't easy to fall asleep on them. Internet speed was good enough. The security box did not have a manual on it, I had to ask concierge to figure out how to use it, to the point that they had to call in a master to unlock and reset it. The hotel provides you with a number of vouchers for various things inside the hotel: breakfast (a small discount), 10 minute massage (you have to book it in advance), and "cashback" coupons for the hotel restaurant (make sure to show them before paying, otherwise they are unusable). The restaurant in the hotel is actually quite alright, except the staff has very poor English and saves on AC, so if you are arriving in hot weather and sweat easily, it will be an uncomfortable experience. The prices are significantly higher than what you'd get just outside. The staff is available 24/7, so it is convenient to check in and out. Overall, this place is good if you plan to explore Bali or visit its beaches, meaning staying outside for most of the day. If you plan on staying in the room for long though, I would not recommend it.
