Nikko Stay House Arai

The homestay is within 3 mins walk from JR Nikko station, which is the first stop for most of the tobu tour bus line in Nikko. The host is very friendly and helpful, she could provide all sort of Nikko related information if you need any, including famous tour spot, weather info, transportation, tour pass etc. She also made indulgent breakfast in Japanese style every morning, which is a big plus since most of the shop or restaurant in Nikko won't open too early. The room is spacious traditional Japanese room with tatami, fitted with air conditioner. The toilet and bathroom are shared among the guests, but since the host didn't took in too much guests at the same time, we never have to wait for it during our 3 nights stay in the homestay. Overall, great experience, the service is worth 5 stars.
