Arrived there on a Saturday morning about 11:00am . Young receptionist Anna? sitting on the r/h side of the counter (facing the guests) said: if you want the room now you have to pay extra X amount of money . Why, no rooms ready yet? Yes we have rooms ready but you are too early. Check in is at 3pm . I said no, no extra money I’ll give you a card so ‘you’ can take your luggage to our holding room and make sure you bring me back the card when you finish. I went to pick up my rented car and we went for a ride around town to make time to 3 pm .When we came back and checked in the last thing that Anna said to us was . We don’t provide automatic clean up of your room you have to come personally to this counter and request it the day before. Never a smile, never a hello never a good night or good bye. Never a thank you, or welcome. We are not youngsters, and we know how a hotel person should deal with guests and conduct business and express him/herself, no matter the language. This person needed a review so she can read how guests do not appreciate her ways and maybe management should train her better if she is to continue in the hotel and tourism business . The other female employee sitting on the left of the counter (don’t remember her name) I complained to her that one afternoon we were in our room and a man with a baseball cap opened our door and quickly retreaded when he saw us . I opened the door and the guy walking down the corridor waived at me. The first thing the lady said was : Did you leave your door semi open maybe the person made a mistake? No we did not. How could we? The door closes and locks automatically with its powerful springs. A mistake? How could he open the door anyway without a key card? Do you have a maintenance man with a black baseball cap? She said we have a cc camera I will check . Pls let us know. 2 hours later she walked our corridor and by chance I saw her . Did you check your camera ? No, not yet . She looked embarrassed . I never heard from her again and that night she was gone . But I didn’t worry too much as we were checking out next day. By the way that night we took our passports and our money with us. You know why? Because the safety box in the room was defective and we were never able to close it up . We are experienced travelers and know when a safety box does not work or is defective . The battery was ok, so no lack of power , Breakfast was ok . But the only hot thing was porridge .
