Great Rooms in Stepney Green Station - 12

The property though cleaned thoroughly by a diligent young man every 2 other days, the property itself is poorly maintained wrt water damaged wood flooring ( my room next to bathroom and toilet). I am very susceptible to mold and mildew, and hives will breakout within half hour of being in such an environment. They did throughout my 4N stay. I was on a budget and my booking is non-refundable. So I dealt with it by taking my Zyrtec tablets every other night. Even for one on a budget ( £193 for 4N ) it is still wrong to provide a room with mold and mildew. Check in was troublesome as the room code was not given/or changed from original check-in instruction. Room number was not assigned. I spent 30min trying a code on all the 5 rooms, some already occupied ( I think, as only one person responded to me trying to unlock her room door ) Thank goodness the staff online was working at 2am to assist with information on room number and code. The online staff is very helpful.
