Positives 1. Affordable value I booked quite close to peak season, and most other hotels were around 1.5× more expensive. I did not want to spend that much, so this property offered reasonable value for money. 2. Helpful and responsible staff The place seems family-run, and the staff were genuinely kind, responsive, and accountable throughout our stay. No giving long faces when asking for extra towels or paper rolls. 3. On-site motorcycle rental This was very important because the property villas are about 10 minutes away from the main town, and the area gets extremely dark at night with nothing nearby. One night close to midnight our motorcycle broke down. I messaged the hotel on WhatsApp, and they sent staff to help us get back. That level of support was appreciated. Thank you. 4. Decent villa size We stayed in a two-bedroom villa with a balcony, which was comfortable for a small family. 5. Useful shared facilities The reception area has shared items like an oven toaster and rice cooker. Our villa also had a microwave and fridge, which were very convenient, especially with a child. Negatives 1. Underdeveloped pool area The villa pool was usable but felt neglected. No other guests seemed to use it, and the shower next to the pool was not working. 2. Rooms need renovation The rooms felt run down and would benefit from an upgrade. There were no fans, and the air-conditioning became very cold at night. Also, there was no wash basin in the bathroom, which meant we had to use the kitchen sink for brushing teeth and basic hygiene. This was uncomfortable and not ideal. 3. Hot water issues The shower water was never properly hot, only lukewarm at best. There was no mixer, just a single-pipe shower, which felt too basic for the price paid. 4. Water supply issue One morning there was no water in the shower at all, and we had to inform the staff to refill the tank. It was resolved, but this is not something you want to deal with while on holiday. 5. Isolated location The property is quite secluded and has no proper street lights . It gets very dark at night, and having your own transport is essential, both practically and for peace of mind. In hindsight, I would choose to stay closer to the beach resorts or hotels next time. Overall This place can work if you are budget-conscious, comfortable being away from the main areas, flexible and plan to rent your own transport. However, families looking for comfort, convenience, and a more polished resort experience may prefer staying closer to the beach.
