This is at the end of the bus line but the public transportation is great and, as a senior, I could get anywhere in 30-45 minutes for less than a buck US. It is simple but clean and I had a nice garden view. Although I didn't see anything about laundry in the info on line, the staff did a week's worth of laundry for a reasonable amount. My room had a dorm fridge and there was a small kitchen with microwave, hot plate and tea pot for the floor (6-8 rooms). Restaurants are scarce. I found a small place at the bus stop, pizza and Chinese within a few blocks and the grocery store just 2 blocks away will do in a pinch but is limited, although they had a robust farmer's market one day, I don't remember if it was Sat or Sun.. I love walking and in the springtime this is a pleasant, green walking neighborhood. The Krakov shopping center is about a 40 minute walk and the Botanical Gardens and Zoo are less than an hour's walk, maybe 20-30 min by bus.
