Aldejus Homestay

I wouldn’t recommend to stay there: Nobody can speak english and it was very hard to communicate with the staff. The owner is sitting on the mainland. If you’re lucky you can chat with him and he tries to give order to the staff. The shower was broken and had not really power. Indeed they only have cold shower as offered. Rooms are very very basic with an unpleasant smell. Since the the cottage is not closed, geckos sit everywhere and also shit everywhere, like on pillows. Unfortunately in one cottage the roof is broken and because of heavy rain everything was flooded inside. The rooms where not cleaned during our stay and we had to bring out bins by our self. The most disgusting thing where the bedbugs! My whole body where eaten by them. Food is normally included and is regularly not bad, but because of some local celebrations they forgot to make food for us two times. Originally we planned to stay 10 days but decided to leave after 5 nights. In advance we talked to the owner if we could get a refund for the not stayed nights. He agreed with us. When we left and wanted the money back he didn’t reply after a while. Thank you for the unbelievable memories. Never again with you!
