I visited Aphrodite beach hotel for the first time in 2019 when me and my partner were looking for a hiking trail off the beaten path and decided to try Akamas peninsula. Akamas as well as the 'Baths of Aphrodite' are less than a 5min drive from the hotel which makes it super accessible to us as guests. Then the first stay itself has been so heartwarming that we keep coming back every year. As a family run hotel, the staff are always very friendly and helpful and know how to make their guests truly feel at home. The rooms have unparalleled views of the sea and the breakfast has always been fresh with a variety that suits every taste. Tip: if you plan to enjoy the sea with a swim then try to come between September - November when the weather is optimal. We typically come in the first week of January when the weather is dry and sunny enough to do our usual hike at the Akamas peninsula but perhaps a tad cold for a swim. We stay at the new part of the hotel (ask for rooms 700-710) and the views are breathtaking.
