“Me and my wife celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary at this facility. Upon arrival, our anniversary accommodations weren't prepared, but the staff quickly resolved the issue. Through inspection of the room, a previous guest's gym shorts were left in a drawer. The bed linen had a mysterious stain on it. Both incidents were resolved. Breakfast featured options which are common staples, but the price is a bit much ($50 for us both/day). The staff I'd friendly and welcoming. The location perfectly fit with our agenda! Overall, it was a good stay, despite those issues.”

“Great location if you have kids go to WashU. Parking is free. However, I found a little blood spots on the pillow and that must have been seen by the house keeper if they change pillow cases for new customers every time Also, coffee cups are not very clean that I had to clean those myself again because of the ring marks at the bottom of the cup. Staff are friendly. Beds are comfortable.”

“The afternoon reception was great and this hotel probably had the best complimentary breakfast I have ever had in a hotel. The only complaint was no hot tub and having to valet for $47. BUT, I would've paid more than that for the (3) of us to have breakfast somewhere, so it evened out. ”

“It was very clean but they don't disclose the extra cost for valet parking when you check in or after the fact. Was stuck in elevator for 20 minutes and tried calling for help 5 times was hung up on every time. Finally was able to pry doors open myself to get out.”

“Bad customer service. I was told to call engineer when the vending machine wasn’t working!!! How customers are the one to deal with that? Unfriendly and unprofessional! I was very disappointed. What kind of hotel doesn’t have WiFi? and everyone seems to not care!”

“I was in town specifically for a show at the Fabulous Fox Theater, so for that, the location was good. However, if you're in STL for sightseeing, it's on the other side from most of the main attractions, like the Arch. The staff were competent and by no means rude, though I would say most weren't exactly "friendly." The hotel has free coffee in the room, but nowhere to get water or even fill up a water bottle. I had to buy bottled water from a gas station. The room was fairly clean. The bathroom floor hadn't been swept and no one noticed that the previous guest had left undergarments in the drawers, but otherwise, it was fine. One of the lamps didn't work, and the full length mirror is on the inside of a cabinet that can't properly stay open to actually use the mirror. The rooms were decorated beautifully, and the art around the hotel was lovely. I spent some time just walking around the hotel to see it all. The rooftop bar (which has an incredible view and is very cute) served breakfast that was pretty tasty, but also fairly expensive. There was no complimentary breakfast. I will say there's a restaurant right across the street called Gary's Fine Dining that was delicious, and they even had live music. I'd definitely recommend going there! Despite the few complaints above, I will absolutely be staying here the next time I visit STL. It's a beautiful hotel!”
