“I was in town specifically for a show at the Fabulous Fox Theater, so for that, the location was good. However, if you're in STL for sightseeing, it's on the other side from most of the main attractions, like the Arch. The staff were competent and by no means rude, though I would say most weren't exactly "friendly." The hotel has free coffee in the room, but nowhere to get water or even fill up a water bottle. I had to buy bottled water from a gas station. The room was fairly clean. The bathroom floor hadn't been swept and no one noticed that the previous guest had left undergarments in the drawers, but otherwise, it was fine. One of the lamps didn't work, and the full length mirror is on the inside of a cabinet that can't properly stay open to actually use the mirror. The rooms were decorated beautifully, and the art around the hotel was lovely. I spent some time just walking around the hotel to see it all. The rooftop bar (which has an incredible view and is very cute) served breakfast that was pretty tasty, but also fairly expensive. There was no complimentary breakfast. I will say there's a restaurant right across the street called Gary's Fine Dining that was delicious, and they even had live music. I'd definitely recommend going there! Despite the few complaints above, I will absolutely be staying here the next time I visit STL. It's a beautiful hotel!”
