“Room was very large & clean. Had full kitchen with all appliances/utensils. Nice separate living room & bedroom. Close to restaurants & town. I would stay here again if in the area.”

“We really enjoyed staying at The Astro motel. The front desk person who checked us in was excelellent in customer service and had a pleasant upbeat demeanor. The decor inside the room and in the breakfast lounge takes you back in time as if you're living in the 1960's. We liked that. The room was clean and simple, it had everything we needed though. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. Although we drove to go out at night, we noticed that the Astro is only about a 5 minute walk to the main strip of old downtown Santa Rose where there are some good restaurants and breweries including one of our favorites Russian River Brewery. We would definitely stay here again.”

“Great room with patio overlooking small vineyard. It is set up like a motel with private access from outdoor corridors. Parts of property are under renovation, so the pool etc are closed. It would be great if they had special pricing for breakfast. ”

“The location can’t be beat and the staff were genuinely kind. I enjoyed the historical charm of the room and the cleanliness was top notch. I was fortunate to be upgraded to a suite, but the design of this room’s windows allow all of the light from exterior street lamps in without any shade to block it out. It was so bright in my room at night I almost could’ve read by it and ir kept me from being able to sleep. So bring your own sleep mask and ear plugs as street noise is also disturbing. ”

“Our family had a wonderful overnight stay at the Hyatt Regency to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Nahir at the front desk welcomed us with a bottle of wine to celebrate. He also recommended several wine tasting places. We just had an issue with the toilet that overflowed on our way our before dinner (this was clean water). But was resolved by their engineering and quickly cleaned up by housekeeping upon getting back. It’s a good location near quaint shops and restaurants. ”
