“The price was great for the stay. We don’t stay in the room for long as we are pretty busy seeing the sights. Beds were very comfortable! Staff were kind. Not fancy but we don’t need fancy, we need cheap and close to the beach.”

“We traveled to Capitola for a graduation at UCSC. The location was great. Not too far for Santa Cruz and we were able to walk to the beach (about 15 minute walk). Room was clean and spacious for our group of 4. Suggestions to the hotel would be prepare room for 4 people, meaning put 4 towels in the room since our reservation was for 4. We arrived to only 2 towels. Also, did not know that you have to request housecleaning. We figured it out for the our second morning and requested it. The breakfast was good with ability to make waffles, eggs and meat were prepared as well as assorted breads, yogurt, juices, and coffee. The added bonus was we drive an electric vehicle and there were a bank of chargers to use! Would recommend this place for those traveling to Capitola or surrounding areas. ”

“Was a wonderful place to stay in Santa Cruz. Right on the beach, fall asleep to the sound of the waves. Nicely decorated. Easy walk to everything. Pool was nice. One thing to note—mattress was really firm. ”

“A great spot with walking distance to the boardwalk. There was a stain on the decorative sheet on top of the bed which made me second guess the cleanliness of the hotel. It has all the basic needs you need plus a great continental breakfast. Overall, a great value for a hotel stay at Santa Cruz.”
