“We could not find a hotel, inn or motel at Monterey, so opted for Salinas instead, which was 30 minutes north. My wife & I had low expectations of this motel due to review here & Yelp, so brought our own bed sheets & pillows. The room is not excessively big nor small. It had a ref & flat tv with cable & both function perfectly. Airconditioning was awesome, since me & my wife are fat & we love to sleep in a cold room. The bathrooms were huge which we did not expect. Shower pressure was fantastic & the tub's drain properly. No puddles at all. Parking was not big but pretty secure I must say. It had 3 cameras watching it 24/7. The motel was situated off 101, which was super convenient. There is a school nearby if you happen to check in on a school day, but that's life. My only beef were the thin walls. The head board of our bed was leaning against the wall & we could clearly hear the conversations happening in the other room. Kindda disturbing to me, but aside from the it was a pleasant surprise. Rooms were clean & it was a hassle free stay. Will surely come back to this place again in a couple of months.”

“Staff was professional and helpful. Rooms were clean and had no odors. The fixtures were a little old but worked fine for me. The bed was a little on the soft side for me but my back did not seem to mind it. It is in a convenient location with easy access to the highway. I stayed there while attending an event at Luguna Seca Raceway and it was a short drive away.”
