“The staff were great! The hotel was decent, but nothing special. There was no soap or hand towels in our room (but we did get them at the front desk as soon as we asked). There was no breakfast, only coffee. It was the best price around and extremely convenient to the Raleigh Convention Center. It's called the Red Roof Plus, but I'm not sure what the Plus stands for? If you're looking for an inexpensive place to stay, right off the highway, and near the convention center, this place will work for you.”

“We stayed there because it was close to the auditorium where we were going to see a performance. It' a 5 minute walk from there. The room was nice and clean and the staff was very friendly. We also ate at the onsite restaurant. It was good but maybe a little over priced. Other than that, it was a very nice stay.”

“Nice place to stay right outside of downtown Raleigh. Was able to walk to food / bars within 15 minutes. You could also use a public scooter or bike right outside the hotel to get to the restaurant districts quicker.Nice products in the hotel room for a reasonable price. Coffee in the morning was good. Didn't get the opportunity to have a drink at the bar, but it had people in it when I walked by at 10pm. It had a nice ambience. They were advertising a queer country night, but the dates for when I wasn't in town.”

“We were extremely happy with the StateView Hotel. We were allowed to check-in a few hours early because we flew in on a redeye. The staff was extremely friendly and kind. The accommodations were top notch! If we travel to Raleigh again, this would be our only choice for a hotel stay. 11 out of 10!”

“There were so many nice employees who were very personable…but on the last day we had a HORRIBLE interaction with a front desk worker…completely stained the entire stay. I’m sure she’ll leave OR will be dismissed…but generally a nice hotel, great location.”
