“Mom and I came back to La Crosse to visit family in early October 2023. I can't say enough about how pleased we both were with our stay at Hampton Inn. They accommodated us with adjoining rooms, one with mobility accessibility for Mom. The fact that they have complimentary breakfast buffet every day was a huge plus especially since they don't have kitchen needs for any other purpose. Last but not least all the staff were friendly and very helpful. A special shout out to Paula during the daytime and Liz at night. Mom made best friends with both of them! I would highly recommend Hampton Inn & Suites to everyone!”

“I mean, it was nice to have the mini kitchen. I saved $ that way by making my own breakfast and dinner. But bathroom was dirty. Weird curtains don’t close. On busy street about 15 minute walk to downtown. Maybe I would stay again just for the convenience of the kitchen”

“My husband and I had a very nice stay at the Gundersen Hotel and Suites. The queen studio was roomy and very clean. The staff were very welcoming. Our only complaint was that the hot breakfast items were not very hot, even in the middle of their serving hours. Overall, though, we had a very pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel. ”

“Enjoyed the stay. The beds were comfortable. I would have liked the hot water to be a bit hotter. It didn’t seem to get really warm. The pool was small but nice and the hot tub was very nice. The complimentary breakfast was ok. Only bananas, no apples or cuties. There was a waffle maker to make your own. The “hot” breakfast was biscuits & sausage gravy. Only plain cake donuts, no powdered sugar or cinnamon sugar ones. The coffee was hot and several different tea bag flavors were offered. The staff was very friendly and helpful! ”
