“There was an issue with booked dates that Agoda quickly resolved (or so we thought) upon check in the hotel staff told us we didn’t have a reservation. I explained what had happened showed a confirmation and paid reservation. They could care less said that Agoda hadn’t done something so they marked what should have been a corrected date as a no show. So really this was an issue between the hotel and Agoda but made it my issue. Again I showed I had a confirmation and paid reservation. I was not offered any assistance by the hotel staff even though they admitted to taking the original call from Agoda regarding the dates and knew this was the correct check in they decided to not honor the reservation nor offer a room at 10pm. They had rooms they just could care less to provide resolution or good customer service. I left and contacted Agoda who did get them to honor the reservation finally I had all the original communications. Even after this upon check in the hotel staff continued to blame Agoda. Also tried making us feel bad that they were comping a room, which they weren’t since we had paid for a room. Even more disappointing is the supervisor (the one that took the change call to begin with) didn’t bother to try communicated with us and didn’t seem to care about resolving the issue either. The hotel itself was fine, large king suite, good breakfast, hot water good pressure for shower. Can’t say about the pool since we missed out on that due to an hour wasted trying to get the room check in. ”

“I stayed at Hyatt Place Fairbanks and was disappointed with a few things. First, the refrigerator in my room didn’t have a freezer, which was inconvenient. Second, I was charged $7.50 for something I didn’t purchase. When I brought it up to the front desk, the manager said they didn’t see the charge on their end and were not very helpful. However, the charge clearly shows on my card. Very frustrating experience, and I expected better customer service.”

“Westmark ,tallest in town. Haven't tried the higher end rooms, but they are very competitive with everywhere in town, the need more rooms that are handicap (ADA) compliant. At least a few Grab bars. Maybe nicer toilet paper. Staffs Great ”
