“The Quirk is pricey, yet staff was short and insufficiently trained in hospitality. They were short on cleaning staff, so my sisters' room went uncleaned, and it had a mildew smell from a soaked carpet (presumably a leak). We sought a room with an accessible shower for my 93 yo father, but were declined... they were short cleaners. Etc. Doorman kept say, "no problem" when he opened the door. Altogether just not what we expected from a $400+ a night hotel in Charlottesville.”
