“Stayed 2 days with family for a wedding. Check in was no issue. The included breakfast buffet is nothing fancy but is filling. The pancake making machine is fun to watch but the pancakes weren't great - perhaps a waffle maker would be better. I appreciated the variety of breakfast options. Our room was spacious and the build in desk/shelves were great for organizing our stuff. The bathroom was fine but bad lighting for doing makeup. The fireplace in the room was great and made our stay feel extra cozy. The weather was chilly outside so we decided not to check out the outdoor hot tub, but I could see it being good after a day of skiing. The hotel's location is easy to find off the main road Big Bear Blvd and it's easy to drive around town. ”

“They are the most friendly accommodating people in the big bear area! The rooms are all nice and rustic with cowboy themes like “Butch and Sundance” and “Sierra Madre” and there is beautiful furniture and art everywhere! Very rustic! The woman is the nicest woman and speaks with the most awesome translator device I’ve ever seen. I want one! 10/10”

“I arrived at around 8pm after driving in snow and icy road conditions. Luckily found a parking spot right in front of the office. The two staff members both greeted me as I walked in the door. Making an online reservation was quick and checking in was easy. The room I booked was not available when I arrived, however, I was given a ground floor room which worked out better. The room was clean and the heater worked well. The room had an ADA shower so it was a bit inconvenient, but it served it's purpose. The mattress was a bit worn, but I was so tired I passed out so I guess it didn't matter.”

“We have been here 3 years in a row. Staff is always nice and always working to make accommodations for guests. We are not a picking family, but my wife will not stay just anywhere. I can get a bit annoying if you have heavy-footed upstairs neighbors, but we just turn up the volume...:)”

“The lady at front desk wasn't the most friendly or welcoming. I asked a question about an amenity in the room and she answered me like I was stupid. The room was nice loved the fireplace except there's no privacy with because of the window blinds they have. Had to use shoes to push them in so people walking by wouldn't be able to look in”

“Worth the price. Good view. Can cook meals or heat meals if you want to. The coffee maker needs cleaning inside there were dead bugs, I think that is because the place is surounded by nature. Good thing we bought our own water kettle. Water pressure is strong. They provided lots of towels for us for the cold. 2 towels each and 1 face towel each.”
