“Great location, friendly staff clean facility”

“This holiday inn is quite new, the staffs are friendly for sure. In general, the room is clean, however when we were using bath tub, the dust came from some where and soaking in the water. Breakfast is good but not as many selections as we had in other Holiday Inn. Also, there is no milk provided, my toddlers are upst. Overall, we are satisfied one night staying on our trip from WA to CA.”

“Picked this since we liked the Scottish at different location. A bit disappointed since this hotel had challenging location and it is more like a hotel. Very basic breakfast (yogurt, milk, cereal and pastries). Too expensive for its value. Questioning girls stopping by.. Will not stay again.”

“Located near the freeway, easy in and out. Convenient check-in at almost midnight. We requested for a late check-out as we got in really late the night before. The morning shift called us in the room, said we’d be charged another day if we didn’t check out on time?? Where’s the customer service there?”

“The room seemed to have more space than a typical hotel room and definitely more character. The surrounding area is beautiful, and with three kids I always appreciate hotels with complimentary breakfast. We were only passing through and stayed one night, but I wished we had been able to stay longer.”

“Plaza Inn and Suites was located perfectly in downtown. Near the theatre too. We highly recommend it for your next visit.”

“Can't beat the value. I stayed once in 2017 and again 2024. Bed, bath, heating is all good. Biggest complaint is no sheer shades for privacy and it's really dark in the room with the curtain drawn. Noise travels between rooms but it wasn't too bad. There was no breakfast that I saw. I love the location as there are restaurants and cafes on the same street but it's not busy like downtown is. Queen room is small, as is the parking lot. ”

“The building is somewhat old and the decor in the lobby/hallways is showing it’s age (partly intentional since they are going for a distinct Tudor/Shakespearean aesthetic because of Ashland’s history with the Oregon Shakespeare Festival). But within the rooms the decor is more updated and comfortable and there are good amenities like decent wifi. There was also a simple yet satisfying buffet for breakfast that was much better than most similarly priced hotels. Overall a decent, comfortable place to spend a night that gives you your money’s worth, and certainly a better deal than most of the other hotels/motels in the area. I will be staying again next time I’m in town. ”
