“Me and a friend stayed in The Ridge Residences for 4 days. Manuela was nice, she received us nicely, even told us the places we should go. Please note that the location of this hotel is on a hill. Our flight landed early and it took us 3 hours to get to our rooms as they say that the people occupying the room are still checking out and they are still cleaning it. We were so tired already. Breakfast is good and decent. We got the sea view room. They have one rude and unfriendly staff though, her name is Theophilla. She never smiled to us, as if she hated our entire existence. But I have observed how nice she was to guests who are “white”. Me and my friend is Asian and African. She even mumbled something bad when my friend left the dining table to use the toilet. That’s just so unnecessary and rude to be honest. As our plans changed, we extended for another night. We saw cockroach inside our room. Upon checkout, my friend have asked if we can have some bottle of water and she was told that we should pay for the extra night if we want water. Wow! There were new guests and they wanted us to leave fast so they can clean the room, and the new occupants did not even have to wait for 3 hours like us. I feel like it was somewhat an unfair treatment. Better off spending extra bucks and booking a hotel on Eden Island. Lesson learned. I don’t recommend this place to my friends at all. ”

“El hospedaje es muy lindo, la recamara amplia y muy limpia, camas cómodas, una casa hermosa en medio de las montañas, las vistas son espectaculares, la cena y el desayuno muy rico, es un lugar tranquilo para descansar, pero si vas sin auto tienes que considerar usar servicio de taxi para ir al centro de Victoria o moverte a cualquier otro lado, el lugar es imposible para subir caminando. Terence, quien nos recibió a nuestra llegada, nos apoyó mucho con el transporte, siempre muy amable, por un precio muy accesible nos recogía y nos trasladaba a los lugares de nuestro interés, estuvimos muy agradecidos, por su excelente trato, gracias a él pudimos disfrutar mucho de nuestra estancia en este lugar, sin preocuparnos por el transporte. Muchas gracias Terence por todo tu apoyo, eres un excelente anfitrión.”
