“This hotel is historic as well as beautiful! It is a converted convent with room situated around a central courtyard with restaurants and a bar. The people were lovely and the service great! My only problem was that the room was quite dark. There are shutters that if you open people walking by can look in so you dress in a not well lit room or open the shutters and dress in the small bathroom. ”

“Pros : The room is clean and basic. Good location. Filtered water in the lobby. Good view in the roof top. Refrigerator in the bedroom. Cons: The bed is old. There are two towers in the hotel. The elevator is very slow. Lack of staff during check in at 4pm. You can hear guests talking outside the bedroom. No coffee machine in the bedroom, but Starbucks is around the corner. ”

“Take a step outside, and immediately immersed in Old San Juan culture. Walking distance to the fort, cruise ship docks, food, shopping, all that Old San Juan has to offer! You won't be disappointed!”

“When we booked the room, the pictures didn’t match what we got. At first, they gave us an upgrade, but the room was very basic and had a bad smell, so we went back to the standard one. After the first night, there was no hot water. The staff was helpful and gave us another upgrade — I’m not sure what type of room it was, but it was amazing. Overall, I’d give it a 6.5 rating because we had to change rooms twice. Otherwise, the last room alone would’ve been a 10. Staff was super helpful ”

“Great location with nearby parking ($25) and nice clean rooms. No microwave or mini fridge in our room (2 twin beds) but the staff were wonderful and microwaved our oatmeal in the morning.”
