“This hotel is historic as well as beautiful! It is a converted convent with room situated around a central courtyard with restaurants and a bar. The people were lovely and the service great! My only problem was that the room was quite dark. There are shutters that if you open people walking by can look in so you dress in a not well lit room or open the shutters and dress in the small bathroom. ”

“Pros : The room is clean and basic. Good location. Filtered water in the lobby. Good view in the roof top. Refrigerator in the bedroom. Cons: The bed is old. There are two towers in the hotel. The elevator is very slow. Lack of staff during check in at 4pm. You can hear guests talking outside the bedroom. No coffee machine in the bedroom, but Starbucks is around the corner. ”

“Location is a 18min walk or 10min scooter to Old San Juan. Location is kind of hidden as the main check-in building is easy to miss and the entrance to hotel isn’t obvious. But the staff is friendly and welcoming. The room i had was fairly small. But as a low maintenance solo traveler it was fine. If you’re a family or group of more than 2, than I would recommend different options. AC worked well, bathroom and shower clean. My only complaint was how loud the fridge was when it decided to do its thing. So i unplugged it. Other than that, a lil pricey for the room size but for the location, it makes sense”
